Dr. Nikki McCaffrey
Dr. Nikki McCaffrey is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin (1996). She completed her G.P. training in 2001 and has spent over a decade practicing as a G.P. in the greater Drogheda area. Nikki’s work encompasses all areas of general practice and she has a special interest in women and children’s health and preventative medicine. Nikki has also completed additional training in the areas of family planning, women’s health and primary care management of diabetes.
Niamh Watson:- Practice Nurse
Niamh joined the practice in September 2012. Niamh graduated with a Higher Diploma in Nursing from the University of Paisley, Scotland in 1999. She undertook her Bachelor of Nursing Degree following this while working at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where she specialised in High Dependency Nursing and Intensive Care Nursing. In 2004 she took up a position in the ICU Department of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.
Niamh retrained in 2007 as a Practice Nurse & has gained a wealth of qualifications in this area. These include being a Registered Cervical Smeartaker, Family Planning Certificate, Asthma Management, Spirometry, Tissue Viability, Certificate in Management of Age Related Bone Health & Joint Disorder (UCD), Osteoporosis & Densitometry Course, Ear Care, Alert Training, BLS.
Sandra McQuillan:- Practice Receptionist
Sandra joined the practice in June 2013. Prior to joining the practice she spent three years working in the emergency department of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda where she gained invaluable experience in the field of medical administration. Sandra’s early career was spent in America where she worked as a Personal Assistant and having returned to Ireland in 2004 she took up a role in a large recruitment agency.
Sandra is the first point of contact for patients and is always available to assist patients with any queries or requests they may have.
